GWYNETH PALTROW'S BREAD KNIVES SOLD OUT AT R5,400 EACH

Earlier this year, Gwyneth Paltrow got everyone excited when an orgasm candle went on sale on GOOP, now it’s a bread

knife for R5,400.

Gwyneth Paltrow obviously has style and influence as both items have sold out on her lifestyle website.

The German-manufactured Zwilling bread knife has been added to the GOOP Christmas shopping list and has been made exclusively for the actress’s website, reports Daily Mail.

The website describes the knife as having a “scalloped serration specifically designed to minimise crumbs and tearing, meaning that you can take on even the crispiest baguette without the crust exploding all over the counter.”

Goop was founded back in 2008 when the American actress was at home on maternity leave with her first-born child. The Oscar-winning actress was married to Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin, and they also have a daughter together.

The website has been no stranger to weird and wonderful, often outrageous, products on offer. Other items on this year’s GOOP Christmas shopping list include a loaf-shaped lamp and a vibrator necklace for R2,400.

If you’re looking for something more discreet, since you’ll probably be opening this in front of your family, you can always add the sustainable bedsheet at just under R10,000 or the duvet cover for just under R12,000.

It sure isn’t cheap or cheerful, but then again it’s GOOP.
