HOLLYWOOD BOULEVARD TRANSFORMED INTO GUCCI CATWALK
Fashion house Gucci took over the streets of Hollywood with actors stepping in as models.
Hollywood Boulevard is no stranger to celebs as it plays host to the red carpet at the Oscars every year, but this time the red carpet became a catwalk.
Alessandro Michele’s collection, titled The Love Parade, was attended by celebs like Billie Eilish, Lizzo and Miley Cyrus. Traditionally the world’s biggest fashion houses participate in fashion weeks in Paris, New York, Milan or London.
Michele announced in May 2020 that Gucci would abandon the traditional fashion calendar in favour of its own standalone shows twice a year, reports the BBC.
Celebs posing as models included actors Jared Leto, Jodie Turner-Smith and even Macaulay Culkin.
Leto is set to play the role of Paolo Gucci in the highly anticipated movie House of Gucci. The 49-year-old will star along with Adam Driver and Lady Gaga.
Other celebs in attendance included Gwyneth Paltrow, Dakota Johnson and Jeremy Pope.
