IS TRUMP PLANNING A 2024 PRESIDENTIAL RUN?
If Mark Meadows’ comments are anything to go by, former President Donald Trump will be running for President again in 2024.
Trump’s former Chief of Staff told Newsmax that Trump is moving forward with a presidential run in a real way. He reportedly met with “cabinet members” at his golf club in New Jersey to discuss his political future.
In June, Trump announced that he would be making an announcement about a presidential run “in the not too distant future”.
During his interview with Newsmax, Meadows said that as a group, the former president and his “cabinet members” are looking at what comes next.
“I’m not authorised to speak on behalf of the President, but I can tell you this, we wouldn’t be meeting tonight if we weren’t making plans to move forward in a real way, with President Trump at the head of that ticket”.
Ross Baker, a professor of political science at Rutgers University in New Jersey has told the Tehran Times that he thinks “Trump frightened a lot of people and now, as more information is coming out, he looks worse and worse. He will not come back to the White House in 2024”.
