JUB JUB ENCOURAGES LOOTING ON SOCIAL MEDIA

In a video shared on his Instagram account, TV presenter Molemo ‘'Jub Jub' Maarohanye said that the looters shoot be allowed to "do whatever they want".

He blamed the government for not providing for the looters, who are currently causing havoc in parts of KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng as they steal from shops and burn down several buildings – including a shopping mall.

"Let them steal if they have to steal, let them do whatever because the government has not provided that.

"This was bound to happen! People are starving. When last did that family have food? When last did they eat meat?"

Jub Jub, who was found guilty of murder and attempted murder while driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs back in 2012, was released on parole in 2017. His conviction was based on the drag-racing event he held alongside Themba Tshabalala in which several school children were murdered and others injured.

In the videos he shared on Instagram, the TV presenter also took a stab at other celebrities who he referred to as "the clever blacks" for not weighing in on the situation.

"Stop being punks and hiding behind your fake life, this whole industry is fake. Everything is fake because these people don’t care about you, they only care about themselves."
