KYLIE JENNER BECOMES FIRST WOMEN TO HIT 300 MILLION FOLLOWERS
The reality star and makeup mogul Kylie Jenner has been crowned the queen of Instagram after she managed to hit the 300 million followers mark.
Jenner takes over from singer Ariana Grande who used to hold the record with her 289 million followers.
Ironically, Jenner hasn’t been very active on social media over the past few weeks.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, who is pregnant with her second child by rapper Travis Scott, has not been posting as much on her verified account since the tragedy at Scott’s Astroworld music festival that left 10 people dead and many more injured, reports CNN.
She has, however, recently posted a compilation of photos displaying her baby bump.
Jenner and Scott have a three-year-old daughter named Stormi Webster already.
The most followed man, and person, in the world is professional soccer star, Cristiano Ronaldo. Currently, he has 389 million followers. In third place is fellow soccer star Lionel Messi, followed by Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Ariana Grande.
The most popular business account is that of Instagram itself followed by athletics brand Nike.
