KZN MAKES TIME MAGAZINE'S LIST OF WORLD'S GREATEST PLACES 2021

Described as a place with "surfable beaches and world-heritage-class parklands, the province of KwaZulu-Natal, is eye-poppingly beautiful".

KZN has made it onto the 2021 version of Time Magazine's List of World's Greatest Places. While the province has been highlighted for its ideal climate and fun attractions, the province was mistakenly described as being "located on South Africa's Western Cape".

But, we can overlook that mistake as the list painted Durban's local eateries and culture in a very good light. The list also paints the dreamy KZN Midlands as the perfect place for artisans to work.

Club Med has indicated that it's planning its first local resort on the Dolphin Coast. Club Med Resorts are notoriously located in some of the most beautiful holiday destinations in the world, including Bali, The Maldives and Zanzibar.

South Africa's Kruger National Park also made it onto the list. Other places on the list include Cannes in France, Seattle in the United States, Arouca in Portugal and Marrakech in Morocco.

While the borders of most of these countries, including South Africa, are still closed to international travellers due to the pandemic, it will hopefully reopen soon.
