Donald Gorske is a 67-year-old McDonald’s loving man from Wisconsin in the United States.
While there might be a lot of 67-year-old McDonald’s loving men in the United States, there’s not quite someone like Donald.
That’s because Donald was just awarded with the Guinness World Record for eating the most Big Mac burgers in a lifetime. And now, he’s just broken his own record.
In almost 50 years, Donald has managed to eat 32,340 Big Mac burgers. He manages to do that by eating at least two of them per day.
You magazine reports that Donald’s love or Big Macs began in 1972, just after he’d bought his first car. He’d always loved hamburgers and bought three Big Macs to celebrate.
“In that moment I said I’m going to probably eat these for the rest of my life,” he recalls “I threw the cartons in the back of my seat and started counting them from day one.”
Saying that you eat two Big Macs a day is one thing, but keeping the box and receipt of every single burger you eat is quite another.
Donald recently retired as a prison guard and realised that he has to make an effort to save petrol. So, now he buys six burgers every Monday followed by eight of them every Thursday.
His secret to staying healthy and fit while eating two Big Mac burgers a day? He walks 10 kilometres per day and skips the fries.
