MEET THE YOUNGEST PERSON TO TRAVEL TO ALL 197 COUNTRIES

When Lexie Alford was just 18-years-old, she had already travelled to 70 countries. She then challenged herself to see if she could become the youngest person in the world to travel to all 197 countries, and "get out of her comfort zone" as she refers to it.

She set off to see the world and funded all of it by herself. How did she make money? From savings, blogging and earning money through social media.

Oh, she also worked for her mom, a travel agent owner. That’s where Lexie’s love for travelled started. Her mom opened up her very own travel agency when she was only 19-years-old and, when Lexie was born, she took her on all her adventures.

In 2021 Lexie was awarded the Guinness World Record for the Youngest Person To Travel To All 197 Countries.

Her favourite countries? Lexie lists her top five as Indonesia because of the diving, Pakistan because of its hospitality, Egypt for its history, Venezuela for its natural beauty and the kindness of its people, and Iceland because she says it’s one of the most unique islands in the world.
