MICHEAL KOPECH FILES FOR DIVORCE RIGHT BEFORE PREGNANCY ANNOUNCEMENT WITH VENESSA MORGAN

The Riverdale star, Venessa Morgan, recently posted a ton of pictures from a gender sex reveal and shared some happy news with her followers. The star announced that she is having a baby boy, and confirmed that Chicago White Sox pitcher, Michael Kopech, her husband, is the father.

Michael filed for divorce back in June right before the star announced the happy news.

As the Chicago Tribune reported, Michael filed for divorce on June 19 in his home state of Texas, just after a half a year of marriage. At the moment, it’s unclear what prompted the split, but when People magazine reached out to both parties, neither returned comments regarding the divorce. Vanessa simply kept her statement focused on her pregnancy.

When Vanessa announced that she’s expecting, she posted on her accounts:

"Exciting news…I am overjoyed to be welcoming my baby boy into the world this January. 💙 This little guy has already brought me so much happiness and a feeling of such a greater purpose. I cannot wait to meet you!! On a personal note, I have had the blessing of growing up in the public eye having started my acting career at age 6. While this has been incredible for me, I am very much looking forward to giving this little guy some room to grow up outside of the public eye, until he tells me otherwise 🙂. Lil one you were made with so much love & already exude a light so strong it warms my belly.
