MILEY CYRUS AND ELTON JOHN TEASE FANS WITH COVER OF METALLICA HIT
In a recent interview with UK radio station, Capital FM, the famous Disney star and singer, Miley Cyrus, teased her fans with the news of an upcoming collaboration she has planned with a
few big-name stars. The collaboration will include Sir Elton John, Yo-Yo Ma and Red Hot Chili
Peppers' drummer Chad Smith.
The star is definitely hitting a high as she plans on
performing a cover of the famous Metallica song, Nothing Else Matters with Elton John.
Further in her interview Miley revealed that part of
her upcoming Metallica covers album will feature a version of
the band's 1991 hit single. She added that; "I did a Metallica cover of
Nothing Else Matters featuring Elton John on piano, I've got Yo-Yo Ma, Chad
Smith; so many all-stars in this band. I'm so excited about this
collaboration."
Miley added that she loves the song even more due to the
fact that she understands that the concept of the song may not make sense to
some fans. "I mean, having Elton
John and Metallica and me ... I love when ingredients don't quite fit. Or it
seems like a concoction that no one would ever put together, and you gotta have
someone like [the song's producer Andrew] Watt that will take that risk."
Miley also discussed her collaboration with singer Dua Lipa which
is planned for the year 2021.
