NETFLIX LAUNCHES GAMES ON MOBILE APP

Streaming service Netflix has just launched games on its mobile app. At the moment, Netflix Games will only be available for Android users, but iOS versions are on the way.

Netflix announced the launch of their games through social media posts, saying “it’s early days, but we’re excited to start bringing you exclusive games, with no ads, no additional fees and no in-app purchases”.

Similar to Netflix movies, documentaries and series, some of the games will work offline as well.

So, who can access the games? Well, for starters if you’re a kid you won’t be able to access it. Sorry, but any adult with a subscription will be able to access the games on the mobile app. For now, only five games will be available with more to come.

In a blog post about the launch of Netflix Games, Mike Verdu, Netflix vice president said “just like our series, films and specials, we want to design games for any level of play and every kind of player, whether you’re a beginner or a lifelong gamer”.
