NICKI MINAJ'S HUSBAND APPROVED TO BE AT THEIR FIRST CHILDS BIRTH
It can’t be easy to see the love of your life miss out on so many things, especially if one of those things is giving birth to your first child together.
It is no secret that the soon-to-be-parents, Nicki Minaj (36) and Kenneth Petty (37), did not have an easy start in their pregnancy journey.
Minaj announced their marriage over the social media site, Instagram, and revealed that the two had tied the knot in their busy schedule on the 21st of October.
Minaj also announced the two’s exciting news via Instagram, and revealed that the couple are expecting their first child, and are overjoyed, stating that she is "overflowing with excitement and gratitude".
Unfortunately, it is not all rainbows and sunshine’s for the lovely rapper as Nicki Minaj’s husband and baby daddy, Kenneth Petty, is currently facing a criminal case against him, and has filed a request to be present when their child is born.
According to TMZ, a judge has altered Petty's pretrial conditions, which now allows him to travel with his pregnant wife, and will not risk to miss the birth of their first child if Nicki happened to go into labor after his curfew. His request to travel with his wife to business trips as her manager in due time until the birth, was approved by the court, and in a court document he filed, he said the U.S. Attorney's Office and pretrial services office aren't against his request.
Petty was arrested back in March and registered as a sex offender in the state of California. He was also convicted for first-degree attempted rape 25 years ago in New York City, and served four years in prison for his actions.
On his release, he was ordered to register as a sex offender in the state of New York where he resided at that time, but neglected to re-register when he moved to the state of California last year, only a short while before saying 'I do' with Anaconda rapper, Nicki.
It still remains a mystery to when the couple’s offspring is due, but we all can certainly see the excitement in the parents-to-be faces.
