PASSENGER BITES FELLOW PASSENGER DURING FLIGHT

An airline in the United States recently reported that a passenger on one of their flights from Atlanta to Los Angeles attacked another passenger by biting them.

Soon after the Delta Airlines flight landed in Los Angeles, staff on board the plane submitted a report that they had to restrain an adult male after he bit one passenger and hit others.

An ambulance was waiting for the restrained man at LAX after which he was taken to a nearby hospital for a psychological evaluation. While it wasn’t reported whether he will be receiving psychological medical attention, the chances of him being charged with criminal or civil penalties are very high.

A spokesperson for the airline said the airline will work with the police and the fire department to solve the matter.

“Delta has zero tolerance for unruly behaviour and will work with law enforcement authorities.”

Airlines in the United States are no strangers to unruly passengers. According to the Federal Aviation Administration, in 2024 alone, more than 2,100 reports of such behaviour were logged.
