PICK N PAY CLOTHING JOINS THE ONLINE SHOPPING QUEUE

While consumers have been able to buy their groceries from Pick n Pay online for years, their clothing department has never been available as part of the package.

Now, Pick n Pay Clothing has launched its online store.

Delivery is available nationwide at a fixed rate of R60 and customers can earn SmartShopper loyalty points with their online purchases.

Speaking to MoneyWeb, Pick n Pay General Manger Hazel Pillay said: "We are happy to make this a reality for our customers. Our new website means that more customers order the items online for safe delivery within days."

The worldwide COVID-19 pandemic has meant a dramatic increase in online purchases compared to traditional retail shopping in store.

According to Wikipedia, there are currently 173 Pick n Pay Clothing stores nationwide.
