PLANE DISCHARGES SEWAGE MID-AIR, DROPS ON MAN SITTING IN BACKYARD
In Windsor, southeast England, a man was enjoying the summer sun when sewage started falling from the sky.
Business Insider reports that a local councillor said the man’s whole garden, garden umbrellas, and the man himself were covered in poop.
According to the minutes of Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead’s most recent aviation forum, the incident did indeed take place.
Local councillor Erika Davies said that there are several incidents every year in which frozen sewage is dropped along flight routes. Windsor is on the flight path to London’s Heathrow Airport, which is about eight miles (13 kilometres) away from the historic town, reports Business Insider.
As if the ordeal itself wasn’t traumatic enough, the Maidenhead Advertiser reported that the Windsor resident was unable to claim any insurance from the ordeal as the cost of the damage was relatively low.
This meant that the man had to clean his own backyard covered in poo and he also had to replace any items that were broken or damaged himself.
