QUEEN ANNE ARRIVES IN CAPE TOWN
For the first time, the Queen Anne has docked in Cape Town harbour.
The large cruise ship belongs to Cunard Line and offers travellers the chance to complete a world voyage. Arriving in Cape Town, the ship completed her maiden 107-night global journey.
The journey started in January from Southampton, and she called at 30 ports across 18 countries.
The Queen Anne can accommodate 2,996 passengers plus 1,225 passengers. She offers 14 decks with elegant décor highlighted by art deco finishes and modern design elements.
The onboard Mareel Wellness & Beauty spa is a collaboration between Cunard and Harper’s Bazaar.
The ship also offers a sophisticated retail space with a selection of brands like Bremont and Chanel.
Queen Anne has been decorated with the colour royal blue, visible everywhere as it pays homage to its namesake.
Cheap it definitely isn’t, so you’ll have to be either extremely wealthy or win the lottery.
The next time the Queen Anne will dock in Cape Town is January 2026, so if you’re keen on getting onboard, make your reservations well in advance.
