US CONGRESSMAN INTRODUCES AFRIKANER ACT

The American legislature has been introduced to what is known as the Afrikaner Act.

The bill was introduced by US Congressman Troy Nehls, who agrees with US President Donald Trump’s views relating to how Afrikaners are being treated in South Africa.

President Trump has previously said that the treatment of Afrikaners in their own country is a human rights violation.

In South Africa, the Expropriation Act was introduced earlier this year, which President Donald Trump believes gives the South African government the right to forcefully confiscate Afrikaners’ private property without compensation.

The Asylum for Farmers and Refugees in Crisis and Necessary Emigration Resettlement (Afrikaner) Act aims to give Priority-2 refugee status to members of the Afrikaner ethnic minority group.

If the bill is passed and becomes law, the Act will give spouses, children, and parents of the Afrikaner group Priority-2 refugee status. The status will be given, provided that the above-mentioned individuals live in South Africa.

BusinessTech reports that Priority 2 status gives groups of special concern designated by the Department of State as having access to the refugee program by their circumstances and apparent need for resettlement.
