SARAH DUCHESS OF YORK DIAGNOSED WITH SKIN CANCER
After receiving the news that two royal family members are being treated for medical issues, including King Charles III, it has now been revealed that Sarah, the Duchess of York has been diagnosed with skin cancer.
A spokesperson for Prince Andrew’s former wife said Fergie was diagnosed with malignant melanoma, a form of skin cancer.
This comes after the Duchess had several moles removed of which one of those were identified as being cancerous. The 64-year-old was treated for breast cancer only six months ago.
A spokesperson for the Duchess said that under the circumstances, she is doing well.
“Clearly, another diagnosis so soon after treatment for breast cancer has been distressing, but the duchess remains in good spirits.”
It’s believed the cancerous cells have been detected early enough.
“She is undergoing further investigations to ensure that this has been caught in the early stages.”
Earlier this week Buckingham Palace announced that Catherine Princess of Wales had undergone a successful abdominal operation and that she will be recuperating in hospital for the next two weeks, while King Charles III will undergo treatment for an enlarged prostate.
