SEAN “DIDDY” COMBS TRIAL DETAILS RELEASED
The trial details surrounding the case against Sean “Diddy” Combs have been released. The case is set to start in May.
The rapper is facing dozens of lawsuits against him. Some of the lawsuits are federal cases, but there are also claims from individuals who were harmed and exploited by the rapper through alcohol, drugs and physical abuse.
Combs has pleaded not guilty to all the criminal charges and said the accusations made in the individual lawsuits were only out to get money from him.
Abuse allegations first surfaced in 2023 when Combs’ on-again-off-again girlfriend of 10 years, Cassidy Ventura sued him for violently abusing and raping her during that time.
The BBC reports that Diddy’s lawyers filed a motion to dismiss an aspect of the federal indictment in which he is accused of “transportation to engage in prostitution”. His team argued he was being unfairly targeted due to his race.
If found guilty, he could receive a life sentence or a minimum of 15 years.
