SELF-ISOLATED DAVID MOYES IS STILL IN CHARGE AT WEST HAM

Despite self-isolating after testing positive for Covid-19, David Moyes is still in charge of West Ham this weekend.

West Ham boss, David Moyes, and players, Issa Diop and Josh Cullen tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday. But it has been confirmed that Moyes will still be the decision-maker for this weekend's game.

Assistant boss, Alan Irvine, who was in charge for the mid-week League Cup 5-0 thrashing of Hull, confirmed that Moyes will be in charge. He said, "David will be the manager. Everything we do will be run through him first of all, and he will make the decisions on everything.

" He would make the decisions anyway but, like for this press conference, I am the messenger."

Regarding the health of the English Premier League team's manager and players, Irvine said, "He is fine. I have spoken to him several times this morning, and he is not feeling any symptoms. Diop and Cullen are both fine. Frustrated because they can't come in, but that is the situation, and they understand that. None of them are feeling anything, which maybe makes it more frustrating."

West Ham takes on Wolverhampton Wanderers at 20:00 on Sunday.
