SOME OF THE MOST EXPENSIVE HOMES WORLD WIDE ARE UP FOR SALE

It is no surprise that 2020 was a hard year on the global economy. And, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that 2020 wasn’t a great year to be selling a million-dollar mansion. However, that only made this year’s for sale list even more crowded. This year’s list has the most nine-digit offers than previous years, and you will be shocked by the asking price for some of this homes. 

Here are some of the most interesting homes going for mouth dropping price.

Starting with the lowest price we have. The Stonewall Farm, Westchester County, New York, which is selling for $100 Million.

The owner of the 740-acre property, Calvin Klein cofounder, Barry Schwartz, recently listed the property for sale. Klein had put three huge barns on the property – altogether, there’s room for 88 steeds. The magnificent property also has its own race track and fenced paddocks. The spacious accommodation of the 24,000-square-foot building is designed in the Colonial style, and has one of the most impressive libraries we’ve seen. Also on the property is a 60-foot pool, beautiful gardens and a butterfly house.

Another amazing property, the Orchid House, Malibu, California, is being sold for $100 Million.

The owner, Pierce Brosnan, has put the 12,500-square-foot Orchid House up for sale. The former 007 star called the property his home for 18 years. Brosnan was inspired by Thai architecture after his time filming Die Another Day in Thailand, and contracted architects Ralph and Ross Anderson who created this stunning property.  

Selling for $105 Million is the Villa Theole Sur Mer, in France.

This Cannes estate is not like any other property, and has a 164-foot infinity pool. Four houses at about 3,000 square feet surround it, plus there are two 800-square-foot apartments. It sits on almost three acres of land, with 240-degree views of the coast ,and includes a separate spa area and pool house. Each of the homes has their own theme. Since there’s not one sprawling mansion on the property, it may not be for everyone – but if you’re looking for the perfect pool, it doesn’t get much better than this.

The Gemini mansion in Manalapan, Florida is selling for a whopping $115 Million.

Even though this Gemini had made the list of most expensive homes in the world again, and that is hasn’t been able to find a buyer for a few years now, that doesn’t make it any less impressive.  The property sits on 15 acres of land, with the ocean on one side and Lake Worth on the other. The home itself is over 62,000 square feet. There are two four-bedroom beachside cottages elsewhere on the property, plus the seven-bedroom “Mango House” which is for the staff. To make it even better, there’s a swimming pool plus a golf area, tennis court and half basketball court. 

The Mar de Amor house in Malibu, California is going for $115 Million.

Mar de Amor translates to “Sea of Love” from Spanish. The house is situated on 2.6 oceanside acres, with a spacious 10,600-square-foot layout and distinctive architecture. Walking in, you see a dramatic two-story entrance, a gym, a 20-seat theatre and more, including an infinity pool on the grounds. You have access to the ocean, a tennis court and eight-car subterranean garage.

The Palazzo di Amore in Beverly Hills, California is now being sold for a jaw dropping $129 Million.

One of the most expensive homes in the US, Palazzo di Amore was previously listed on the real estate market for $195 million, however it seems like that price is just too high. This magnificent listing is a certifiable mega-mansion of 50,000 square feet, with a long list of amenities that includes a 10,000-bottle wine cellar, a 12,500-square-foot, in-home entertainment complex with a bowling alley, theatre and ballroom. Outside, you get a completely separate guesthouse, a swimming pool, another pool that's 128 feet long, a tennis court and gardens.

The amazing  Vatuvara Private Islands in Fiji is now listed for $155 Million.

The Vatuvara Isles, is not just an 5,187-acre plot of land, but a set of luxury hotel villas. These are all located on the shore of Kaibu Island. With the purchase, you will get a total of four islands.

The Mesa Vista Ranch, in Pampa, Texas has taken it up a level and is now being sold for $220 Million.

The amazing Mesa Vista Ranch – which was owned by Financier, T. Boone Pickens, who passed in September 2019 – took 50 years to develop. The property was first being listed for $250 million last year, but still hasn’t been sold since it was first listed back in 2017. It’s situated on 65,000 acres of land in the Eastern Texas Panhandle. The main residence is 33,000 square feet. Pickens gave it plenty of TLC too, introducing manmade streams and new conservation practices to preserve the wildlife. The property also has an interesting two-story pub and an 11,000-square-foot dog kennel.

Gateways Canyons Ranch, in Gateway, Colorado is an amazing property being sold for $279 Million. 

The 8,700-acre slice of land in Colorado, deep in red rock country, was originally developed by Discovery Channel founder, John Hendricks. With the Gateway Canyons Ranch, you can also buy your own car museum, mansion and airplane hangar. The main residence is 22,000 square feet and includes an observatory. This is an amazing home for a stargaze lover. The property also includes a theatre, spa, library and art studio. The price also includes all the furniture, as well as all 50 of the vintage cars from Hendrick’s personal collection. 

The Pierre Cardin’s Bubble Palace, in France is not wasting any time or money and is now being sold for $390 Million.

If you are looking for a unique home, this Bubble Palace’s distinct architecture is just the thing for you. This amazing palace was definitely the best home for owner and fashion designer, Pierre Cardin, and his more eccentric tastes. Cardin build the home back in 1975, and contracted the Hungarian architect Antti Lovag to design the “palace” by the Cannes coast. The amazing home is a 12,900-square-foot network of circular rooms.

Coming in at a whopping $500 Million is The One home in Bel Air, California.

Once again, The One is at the top of the selling price for the 100,000 square feet property, with 20 bedrooms and 30 bathrooms. You do not only get one but five swimming pools, your own in-house night club, a six-lane bowling alley and more. It’s a big bet for film producer turned mega-mansion developer, Nile Niami, who commissioned renowned Los Angeles architect, Paul McClean, to design the place seven years ago.
