SPALLETTI TO THE RESCUE
Juventus have turned to Luciano Spalletti as their new manager until the end of the season, hoping his winning touch can turn things around. The 66-year-old steps in after Igor Tudor was sacked following a poor run of results, with Juve desperate to climb back into title contention.
Spalletti isn’t new to success. He famously guided Napoli to the Serie A title in the 2022/23 season, their first in over three decades. That triumph didn’t just show his tactical brilliance. It proved he could build a team that plays with flair and confidence. Before that, he enjoyed strong spells with Roma and Inter Milan, helping both sides compete at the top level in Italy.
His career isn’t limited to Serie A, either. During his time with Zenit St Petersburg, he won two Russian Premier League titles, showing his adaptability and ability to win abroad.
Spalletti also took charge of the Italian national team, helping them qualify for Euro 2024 after they’d missed the 2022 World Cup.
Although Italy didn’t go far in the tournament, its leadership brought much-needed stability to the squad.
Now, Juventus are counting on his experience and sharp football mind to restore belief and bring back the winning mentality the club is famous for.
