STRAY DOG REPEATEDLY STEALS UNICORN FROM SHOP
A stray dog in North Carolina managed to walk into a store and steal a purple stuffed unicorn. Workers at the store noticed, and after taking the unicorn from the dog, they put it back on the shelf.
A few days later, the same dog came in and, once again, stole the unicorn from the shelf. After it happened a few times, the workers called an animal rescue shelter to report it as they realised the dog had no home.
The responder who came to collect the dog, now called Sisu, was so touched by his behaviour that she bought the purple unicorn for him before taking him to the shelter. It is believed that before Sisu became a stray dog, he was with a family that used to have a similar toy, and that his connection with the stuffed unicorn was one of love and longing.
Sisu’s name comes from the similarities between his purple unicorn and the purple dragon in Disney’s Raya And The Last Dragon.
The story does have a happy ending though as Sisu was adopted shortly after joining the shelter. And yes, the purple unicorn is with him at his new forever home.
