A THIRD MYSTERIOUS MONOLITH HAS APPEARED IN CALIFORNIA

For several weeks mysterious metal monoliths have appeared in different countries around the world.

Recently, a third monolith has appeared on top of a mountain

in the small town of Atascadero, California. The silver column was found on Pine Mountain by a group of hikers. Since the discovery of the third object, many have made the trip up to see it for themselves.

This third unusual discovery comes just weeks after a very similar-looking metal structure was found in deep in Utah’s Red Rock desert. The second metal monolith appeared on a Romanian Hillside which also stood 13-foot-tall. This artwork was found on Doamnei Hill in the city of Piatra Neamţ on November 26.

According to reports in local newspaper, Atascadero News, "The three-sided obelisk appeared to be made of stainless steel, 10-feet tall and 18 inches wide. The object was welded together at each corner, with rivets attaching the side panels to a likely steel frame inside."

The unusual appearances began on November 18 when the first monolith was discovered in Utah by a group of sheep counters travelling in a helicopter. However, the object disappeared on November 27. The state’s Bureau of Land Management announced the disappearance in a statement, where they insisted that they are not the ones who removed the structure.

They also added that they will not be investigating the disappearance of the object and that they handed the matter over to the local sheriff’s office.

A number of conspiracy theories have emerged, ranging from aliens to statement artists. Despite them bearing uncanny similarities, it’s impossible to know whether all three of the monoliths were installed by the same people.

A professor from De Montfort University also claimed that it’s better if we don’t find out where they came from, because knowing the secret would spoil the mystery.
