TREVOR NOAH LOOKS BACK ON 2020

Comedian, Trevor Noah, has looked back on 2020 and said that it was a liberating year for him.

The host of The Daily Show shared the news with his viewers and stated that it was a time to reflect on his life and the stuff that he believes was holding him back.

“For me, this has been one of the most liberating years mentally and emotionally, because it freed me from a lot of the paradigms and anchors that I had created for myself.

"For me, the coronavirus, if you look at it objectively, has stripped away a lot of the bullsh***”.

While Noah admitted to GQ that his routine to present The Daily Show from his home and share it with the world kept him not only occupied, but it also kept him from getting depressed.

With his relationship with Minka Kelly rumoured to be going so well that they are house-hunting together, making the Sexiest Man Alive nominee list and the announcement to host next year’s Grammy Awards, it does indeed seem as if 2020 was a very good year for the Johannesburg-born funny man.

Noah was also named GQ’s newsman of the year and appeared on the November issue’s cover page. Check out the promo video here.
