TRUMP LOSES R46 MILLION ON WISCONSIN RECOUNT, LOSES EVEN MORE VOTES
President Donald Trump’s administration recently spent $3 million (R46 million) to recount the votes in the state of Wisconsin.
This comes after the state was won by the Democratic party and the Republicans requested a recount of two counties, namely Milwaukee and Dane.
There’s no doubt that Trump was hoping the recount would turn out to be victorious for his party, but it ended up being the exact opposite.
While the final recount number for Dane county is still to be announced, Milwaukee not only confirmed that president-elect Joe Biden has won, but it also earned him another 132 votes.
Trump believes that electoral fraud was the reason why he lost the state, that’s why he demanded the recount. While several states denied him the chance to recount their votes, several have decided to recount in order to confirm that voter fraud wasn’t committed.
The state of Pennsylvania was the latest state to deny the president a recount as a federal appeals court rejected the president’s attempt at a recount, reports the Associated Press.
