TRUMP MOVES PORTRAITS OF FORMER PRESIDENTS

Whether you’re on his side or not, it seems as if US President Donald Trump will move you to where he prefers. That’s the rumour doing the rounds as White House staff have been instructed to move the portraits of certain former presidents.

It’s obvious that there’s no love lost between Trump and former President Barack Obama, but now Trump has made his opinion of Obama obvious by moving his official portrait to a less prominent space.

Obama’s portrait now allegedly hangs above the Grand Staircase, where it’s out of view from thousands of visitors visiting the White House every day.

But, Obama isn’t the only former President who has been moved to a less popular area. Former Republican Presidents George W. Bush and his father, George H. W. Bush, have both been moved to the same area.

This isn’t the first time that Trump has moved Obama’s portrait. In April, it was moved across the Grand Foyer and replaced with a painting of Trump surviving an assassination attempt earlier this year.

Former President Joe Biden’s portrait hasn’t been completed yet, but it’s not clear where it will be positioned within the White House.
