TWITTER WILL FIX YOUR TYPOS, AT A COST

As part of its strategy to earn more money outside of advertising revenue, the social media platform has introduced Twitter Blue.

This subscription offer will be offered to users at $4.49 per month, and will include the option to "revise" tweets before sending them out.

IT News Africa reports that one of the most important features of the service is the new "undo" button.

"This will allow users to preview and revise a tweet before it gets posted on their timelines."

Users have asked Twitter for many years to include a feature where they’re able to edit tweets, since they can't be edited once they have been posted. Now, eventually, Twitter has added the option but only as part of the premium subscription offered by Twitter Blue.

Users will be able to review their tweet for a maximum of 30 seconds before it is published through the platform.

Other options available to Twitter Blue subscribers include access to dedicated customer support, customisable app icons for their device's home screens and new, exclusive colour themes for their Twitter app, reports IT News Africa.

At the moment, this subscription isn't available in Africa just yet.
