VIDEO: DONALD TRUMP'S CAMPAIGN OFFER 50 CENT $500,000 TO REACH BLACK VOTERS

Rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has claimed that Donald Trump’s presidential campaign offered him half a million dollars to support him during the election. In an interview with the New York radio station, Hot 97, 50 Cent said that during Trump’s campaign, he was offered $500,000 in what the rapper claimed was an effort to reach out to black voters.

“I was like, nah, that’s not good money,” the rapper said on the program. “Yeah, I’m not gonna do that … that’s not worth it.” The rapper, who was promoting “Power,” his television show on Starz, also called Trump’s election an “accident.”

“If you were president by accident, you might do some of the things Donald Trump is doing,” 50 Cent said. “I think he was [campaigning] to build his profile for a bigger deal on television, and everything else.”

The rapper continued: “I don’t think anything has divided people as fast” as Trump has.

The White House redirected a request for comment about the allegation to the Trump campaign, which didn’t immediately respond. In 2015, 50 Cent told The Daily Beast that he supported then-presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, exclaiming, “It’s Hillary time!”

He added that he felt like Clinton “was the president already once,” because of how close she was to the position during her husband’s presidency. You can watch the interview with 50 Cent and Hot 97 in the video below.
