If you don't want to know what Amy said to Sheldon's proposal, or which Big Bang beauty is expecting a baby – stop reading! 

The Big Bang Theory's season 11 premiere was filled with bombshells and the episode immediately kicked off with the answer to last year's proposal cliffhanger between Sheldon and Amy.

"She said yes!" Sheldon confirms excitedly to Penny and Leonard over the phone, while embracing his fiance for the first time. After sharing the news with his mother (guest star Laurie Metcalf), Sheldon calls Raj and Howard to recount the story!

While Howard rushes to tell Bernadette, you can clearly see she is shocked – but not about the engagement!

"Oh my God," she whispers to herself while holding a positive pregnancy test. "I cannot believe it."

You heard it right – Bernadette and Howard are now expecting another baby – even if they aren't too thrilled about it!

However, at the end of the episode, Howard and Bernadette appear to be ready and willing to be the parents of two children – especially with their close group of friends there to help.

Why was the second baby bombshell written into the plot? Well, it turns out that the real-life star Melissa Rauch is expecting a child with her husband, Winston Beigel. Raunch made this announcement in July.
