WHAT HAPPENED IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE THIS PAST WEEKEND?

Man City seems to have the Golden Boy, Aguero.

Sergio Aguero, the Argentina striker, has scored 176 goals for Man City and it’s not stopping there. All the Premier League clubs have their eyes on Aguero, and we can’t blame them. There were suggestions that Arsenal may swap Alexis Sanchez with Aguero, or Raheem Sterling.

Coutinho is back in the game.

Phillippe Coutinho found himself in a difficult situation about a month back, when he tried to move from Liverpool to Barcelona. Liverpool did indeed refuse to sell him, making this potential move very awkward for both the Liverpool fans, players and Coutinho. Coutinho decided to put all of this behind him and give his A-game to Liverpool (for the time being). Coutinho was fantastic against Leicester City where he showed everyone that he was indeed there to help them push for a trophy. He scored a fantastic free-kick which put Liverpool in to win 3-2.

Lukaku puts Man United into a whole new class.

Striker Romelu Lukaku is Manchester United’s best asset at the moment. Manchester United wasn’t at their very best against Southampton, where they closely won 1-0, but the Belgium striker Lukaku was anything but unimpressive. He also went to win the game for Manchester United in his 20th minute.
