WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE CONTESTANT SHOCKED WHEN MYSTERY MAN ANSWERS WIFE’S PHONE

The Who Wants To Be A Millionaire audience saw contestant, JP Hogan, left red faced on the ITV programme after a big surprise when he phoned a friend.

Hogan got off to a confident start when he was quizzed by show host, Jeremy Clarkson. However, Hogan stumbled when he got to the £8,000 question when he was asked by Jeremy: "Which of these days is part of the weekend in Germany?"

The four possible answers were; Donnerstag, Mittwoch, Sonntag or Dienstag.

The unsure JP decided to use his lifeline to phone-a-friend, and rang his wife Elizabeth as he explained that she knows the area.

But the shock for both Jeremy and JP came when they heard a man's voice ahead of Elizabeth's.

A man's voice first answered the phone and said: "Sorry there was no service."

The stressed JP looked rather taken aback by the surprise of hearing another man's voice on his wife's phone. However the joker Jeremy couldn't help but make a joke at JP's expense, and said: "A man just answered her phone. Relax, it could be completely innocent."

The still shocked JP then began to laugh at Jeremy's joke too.

Viewers started to comment on the awkward moment as one social networker said; "So who's the dude that answered his wife's phone."

On the second try to phone his wife, Jeremy asked wife Elizabeth if she does indeed have company with her, on which she confirmed.

Despite the awkward voice mishap, JP walked away with an impressive £64,000.
