WHOOPI GOLDBERG TO LAUNCH NEW CANNABIS BUSINESS
After shutting down her previous cannabis business earlier this year, actress Whoopi Goldberg has announced that she will be launching a new cannabis business.
Goldberg announced her latest business venture during an interview with a new cannabis publication called Black Cannabis Magazine. She also appears on the cover of this magazine's launch cover.
The Sister Act star told the magazine that "it's an honour to grace the very first cover of Black Cannabis Magazine. As a long-time cannabis advocate and entrepreneur, I’m happy to support the launch of a new publication focused on starting conversations and covering issues that educate, entertain and inspire people of colour in the cannabis community", reports Page Six.
The new cannabis product line will reportedly be called Emma & Clyde, named after her mother and brother. It will launch in California soon and will include edibles, pre-rolls, flower and accessories.
Other celebrities who have opted to invest in cannabis businesses of their own include actor Seth Rogan, rappers Drake and Jay-Z, as well as TV personality Martha Stewart.
The launch of the magazine was on Tuesday the 20th of April, also known as "weed day" in the United States.
