AUSSIE POSTMAN BECOMES LAUNDRY HERO

Postmen and deliverymen worldwide aren’t always the most helpful people. But, to be fair, they often deliver hundreds of packages every single day and don’t always have the energy to get out of their delivery vans.

But one postman in Brisbane, Australia, not only got out to put the package he had to deliver on the front steps of a house, he also did something very special.

The postman noticed that it was starting to rain, and the owner of the house had bed sheets hanging out to dry. The sheets were dry, but the owner wasn’t home yet, so the postman decided to do the owner a favour and take the sheets off the washing line.

A security camera caught this postman’s act of kindness on camera.

Gurpreet Singh can be seen taking the sheets off the washing line and putting them under cover near the front door.

When the homeowner, Verrity Wandel, arrived home, she thought she was coming home to a whole different scenario.

“This is 1 in a million. I thought I was coming home to find my wash soaking wet, but NO.”

Singh’s unselfish act went viral, and he has been hailed as the laundry hero.
