CELINE DION LOSES CONTROL OF HER MUSCLES
After announcing that she was suffering from a rare neurological disorder in 2022, Celine Dion had to cancel her Courage World Tour.
Now, the Canadian music superstar’s sister Claudette has given an update on her 55-year-old sister’s health.
In an interview with the Canadian website, 7 Jours Claudette said that the singer “doesn’t have control over her muscles.
“What breaks my heart is that she’s always been disciplined. She’s always worked hard.”
First, it was the Covid-19 pandemic that halted her world tour, but after 52 shows she had to cancel the remaining shows due to her illness.
The Stiff Person Syndrome Foundation says that it’s a neurological disease with autoimmune features. Symptoms include muscle spasms, hyper-rigidity, debilitating pain, and chronic anxiety.
According to the Foundation’s website, muscle spams can be so violent they can dislocate joints and even break bones.
The multi-award-winning singer recently starred in a romantic comedy called Love Again with Priyanka Chopra. It was the singer’s film debut.
