CHECKERS SIXTY60 BRANCHING OUT TO SHOPRITE
It’s been a hit since it launched and now Checkers Sixty60 is making grocery shopping more convenient for Shoprite clients as well.
The grocery delivery service will give select Shoprite stores the same service that their Checkers counterparts have been enjoying.
After its successful pilot in Gauteng and the Western Cape, the grocery chain has chosen 19 stores to receive the service previously only available through Checkers and Checkers Hyper stores.
The selected stores in the Western Cape are Shoprite Atlantis and Shoprite Kleinmond, while Shoprite Kriel in Ga-Nala, Mpumalanga was chosen alongside Shoprite Jabulani in Soweto.
To ensure that each new location meets the high standards of excellence and efficiency that the service is used to, the roll-out will be completed in phases.
Neil Schreuder, chief of strategy and innovation at the Shoprite Group, said the group was excited to expand.
“After many months of working feverishly behind-the-scenes, we are excited to introduce Shoprite Sixty60 to locations where it can have a meaningful impact for consumers needing the convenience of home delivery, and where the logistics are in place to support a seamless experience.”
