DJOKOVIC WANTED FAN KICKED OUT OF WIMBLEDON

The world number two tennis player Novak Djokovic decided to take action after becoming frustrated with a vocal fan on Wimbledon’s Centre Court.

The Serb was playing against Jacob Fearnley and had just lost the third set against the Brit when the incident took place.

Fearnley could be seen looking behind him before Djokovic was heard speaking to one of the staff members on the court.

He made it clear that he wanted the fan to be removed immediately.

“It’s him, that guy, get him. That guy there, the grey tracksuit just going down the stairs now.”

The member of staff could be seen talking to two fans and one then left his seat, only to return a bit later.

Djokovic also approached the umpire, asking: “Why is he not out?”

Fearnley ended up winning the match after he had a breakdown at one stage. He managed to fight back and break Djokovic twice and win the match after the fourth set.

He said he was aware of the unruly and vocal fan but didn’t notice “anything crazy”.

“I was more just dealing with the nerves that come with playing on that court.”
