FREDDIE FLINTOFF INJURED WHILE FILMING TOP GEAR
Former England cricket player and current Top Gear presenter Freddie Flintoff has been injured while filming for the show.
The incident happened at Top Gear’s test track at Dunsfold Park Aerodrome in Surrey on Tuesday.
BBC reports that Flintoff received medical care at the scene before he was taken to a local hospital for further treatment.
“Freddie was injured in an accident at the Top Gear test track this morning – with crew medical attending the scene immediately. He has been taken to hospital for further treatment, and will confirm more details in due course,” a spokesperson for the BBC said.
This is not the first time that Flintoff has been involved in an accident while filming. In 2019 he was involved in two accidents, one took place in February when he crashed into a market stall in Nottinghamshire and the other one took place at Elvington Airfield in Yorkshire in September.
The former cricketer is known for being a daredevil.
“Honestly, I haven’t found a challenge yet that I wouldn’t do. Top Gear has this way of coming up with bonkers stuff; I know they’re already thinking about that.”
