GENDER REVEAL GONE WRONG
Over the last few months, gender reveal parties have been the cause of many debates... and even fires. Exciting parents announcing the gender of their unborn baby have caused havoc.
Do you remember the gender reveal party where a pyrotechnic mistake lead to the devastating El Dorado fire in September? Tens of thousands of acres of land were destroyed and people left homeless.
Not that it would stop other parents from going ahead with the parties anyway.
A couple wanted to announce the gender of their second child through a gender reveal party. They enlisted the help of their first born, probably as a way to include the soon-to-be big sister in the festivities.
When she was unable to pop the balloon that would have revealed the gender with its either blue or pink content, she threw a tantrum. When her mom took the pin from her in an effort to pop the balloon, the child then grabbed it back and threw it on the floor.
That’s when everything went wrong. The mom, in an effort to scold the child, then let go of the balloon by accident. The very important gender reveal balloon. The whole reason all their loved ones got together in the first place.
Well, we hope they had a backup plan because Plan A clearly didn’t work.
