KATE MOSS SAYS JOHNNY DEPP NEVER PUSHED HER DOWN STAIRS

British supermodel Kate Moss yesterday testified in the ongoing defamation case between Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard.

Moss and Depp dated between 1994 and 1998.

Moss was asked to testify by Depp’s legal team. She joined via a video link from her home in Gloucestershire, England. The trial is taking place in Virginia, United States.

Earlier during the trial, Heard testified that during an argument between her and Depp, she thought of Moss and how Depp pushed her down the stairs as well.

Moss confirmed that rumours doing the rounds that made it appear as if Depp pushed her down a flight of stairs were false.

“We were leaving the room and Johnny left the room before I did,” the 48-year-old Moss said.

“And there’d been a rainstorm and as I left the room I slid down the stairs and I hurt my back.

“And I screamed because I didn’t know what had happened to me and I was in pain. He came running back to help me and carried me to my room and got me medical attention.”

She then went on to confirm that he never abused her, saying “he never pushed me, kicked me or threw me down any stairs.”

Heard’s legal team declined to cross-examine Moss.

EWN reports that the 58-year-old Depp filed suit against Heard over an op-ed she wrote for The Washington Post in December 2018 in which she described herself as a “public figure representing domestic abuse.”
