KEVIN BACON AND HIS WIFE ARE RELATED AND PEOPLE ARE REACTING
In 2021, actress Kyra Sedgwick found out that she and her husband, actor Kevin Bacon are biologically related.
Now, the footage of the moment the couple found out about it has resurfaced again and people are concerned that the couple was so calm about the news.
The couple appeared on an episode of Finding Your Roots, a show where the guest’s ancestry is tracked. The host, Henry Louis Gates Jr. then reveals to that episode’s guest whether they have any famous family members.
During the episode where the couple appeared together, Gates announced that Kyra has a “famous ninth cousin”. When Kyra was told that it was her husband, she seemed unfazed about it and that’s what people are talking about.
“See. I knew it!”
Her husband was even less phased by the news when he replied “As long as we’re not first cousins”.
The show had even more news about Kevin having a famous family member, although very distant. The Footloose star was told that he and “Brad Pitt are 13th cousins twice removed”.
The couple has been married since 1988 and have two adult children in their 30s.
