MEAN GIRLS CAST REUNITE FOR AD

Nine years after the release of the iconic movie Mean Girls, the main cast members came together to film a reunion scene.

Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Seyfried and Lacey Chabert came together to show an ad for retailer Walmart’s Black Friday campaign.

The iconic trio was joined by co-stars Daniel Franzese and Rajiv Surendra.

Some of the movie’s most iconic scenes are revisited in the ad like the girls wearing their sexy Santa costumes and singing Jingle Bell Rock.

Lindsay Lohan said the catch-up was “great”.

“It was so nice being back together after all these years. It was great catching up with everyone.”

Lacey Chabert emphasised how much she enjoyed seeing her two co-stars again.

“It was wonderful to spend the day with Amanda and Lindsay and it was so much fun getting to reminisce and be together again.”

The ad features all five co-stars and imagines them as if their dynamic stayed the same over the years, but they’re adults shopping at Walmart.

On Wednesdays, we wear pink and shop at Walmart.
