TAYLOR SWIFT AND TRAVIS KELCE ARE ENGAGED
The world’s favourite couple have announced their engagement.
Pop star Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce announced the news via a social media post.
Swift posted a romantic engagement shoot on her Instagram feed. The photos feature Kelce proposing in a rose garden with the caption: Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.
The post is an ode to Swift’s song So High School, which is about her love for her now fiancé.
According to the Daily Mail, Kelce already asked Swift two weeks ago, but the pair only decided to share the news now.
Swift’s massive diamond ring was also shown in the post. The band is an Old Mine Brilliant Cut and according to sources, it’s from Kindred Lubeck at Artifex Fine Jewellery. It’s reported to be worth between $675,000 and $1 million.
The stars, both 35 years old, have been dating for two years now. This engagement is a first for both of them.
The post gathered more than 29 million votes within 24 hours of Swift posting it.
Many of the pop icon’s songs are known to be about her exes and her breakups. Hopefully, all her songs will, from now on, be about a love that finally worked out.
