USHER WEDS GIRLFRIEND AFTER SUPER BOWL PERFORMANCE
R&B singer Usher had a busy weekend. Not only did the 45-year-old hitmaker headline the Super Bowl in spectacular fashion but he also got married to his long-term girlfriend Jennifer Goicoechea.
The couple got married during an intimate ceremony in Las Vegas. The ceremony took place at Vegas Weddings’ Terrace Gaze.
Usher’s mom, Jonnetta Patton was in attendance and signed as the couple’s witness.
The singer’s representative confirmed the news to People Magazine.
“We can confirm that Usher and Jennifer Goicoechea took the next step in their relationship and did get married on Sunday night in Las Vegas surrounded by close friends and family.”
The couple first sparked dating rumours in 2019 and they welcomed their first child in 2020 followed by their second child in 2021.
News24 reports that this is Usher’s third marriage. In 2007, he married Tameka Foster, with whom he shares sons Usher Raymond V and Naviyd. The pair divorced in 2009 after two years of marriage.
The Grammy winner’s second marriage was between him and former music executive Grace Harry, but the pair got divorced in 2018.
