2024 OSCAR NOMINATIONS ANNOUNCED
The nominations for this year’s Oscars have been announced. If the nominations are anything to go by, it should be a good night for Oppenheimer.
The movie by Christopher Nolan has been nominated for 13 categories, including the coveted best picture.

Poor Things has managed to get 11 nominations followed by Killers of the Flower Moon with 10 nods.

A favourite among theatregoers, Barbie has been nominated eight times. Earlier this month Ryan Gosling, who plays Ken in the movie, made headlines for not hiding how shocked he was at winning a Critics’ Choice Award for his song “I’m Just Ken”.
Both Cillian Murphy and Emily Blunt have been nominated for their lead roles in Oppenheimer.
Barbie has been nominated in the categories for Production Design and Costume Design, with the movie expected to win both.
Comedian and talk show host Jimmy Kimmel will host the most famous event in Hollywood for the second time.
