HARRY AND MEGHAN TO PRODUCE TWO NEW SHOWS
Netflix has been in talks with Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle to produce two new shows.
The streaming platform has commissioned the former royals to work on two new non-fiction shows.
At this stage, the names and launch dates for both shows haven’t been revealed yet although the themes that they will be centred around have been announced.
While one of the shows will be a lifestyle show, the other will focus on the world of professional polo.
The former royals resigned from their full-time jobs as senior members of Britain’s royal family in 2020. Soon after that, they founded a production company called Archewell Productions and they moved to the United States where they’ve been living ever since.
In a statement released by the couple’s production company, details around the lifestyle show were revealed, saying that it will be “curated by Meghan” and will “celebrate the joys of cooking and gardening, entertaining, and friendship”.
The other series will “provide viewers unprecedented access to the world of professional polo”.
“Known primarily for its aesthetic and social scene, the series will pull the curtain back on the grit and passion of the sport, capturing players and all it takes to compete at the highest level.”
