SACHA BARON COHEN AND ISLA FISHER ANNOUNCE DIVORCE
Hollywood actors Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher have announced their divorce.
“After a long tennis match lasting over 20 years, we are finally putting our racquets down.”
The couple announced their split in a social media post. According to the post, the couple jointly filed for divorce in 2023.
“We have always prioritised our privacy, and have been quietly working through this change.”
The couple has three children together.
“We forever share in our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family’s wish for privacy.”
In March, Baron Cohen made headlines when Australian actress Rebel Wilson said her memoir would soon be published and contains information about things that Baron Cohen asked her to do while on set.
She said the things were “derogatory to women or to my size”. The allegations took place while both actors were on the set of Baron Cohen’s 2016 movie Grimsby.
Wilson said some scenes made her feel like she was “being humiliated” and “sexually harassed”.
Baron Cohen and Wilson are currently involved in a legal battle.
