JARED LETO CLIMBS EMPIRE STATE BUILDING LEGALLY
Actor and musician Jared Leto has gone to great lengths and heights to promote his band’s latest world tour.
The 51-year-old recently became the first person to legally climb the iconic Empire State Building in New York.
He did it in a bright orange jumpsuit and used a harness and a rope to ensure his safety.
Leto told BBC that it was harder than he thought it would be.
“I was more excited than nervous to tell you the truth. But I have to be honest, it was very, very hard. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be.”
After the Oscar-winning actor reached the top, there was a surprise waiting for him.
“I made it to the top, and I saw my mother in the window of the 80th floor, and that was a nice surprise.”
His band, Thirty Seconds To Mars kicks off their world tour in March 2024 in Buenos Aires. It’s their first headline tour in five years.
