MEGHAN REVEALS NEW BRAND
The Duchess of Sussex has given a sneak peek as to what her latest venture could be.
On an Instagram account called American Riviera Orchard, a 16-second long video was posted with Nancy Wilson’s I Wish You Love playing in the background. The video features hands styling flowers, Meghan in what appears to be her kitchen stirring a pot, and a woman dressed in a ballgown standing at the end of a long colonnade.
Although Prince Harry’s wife hasn’t revealed what it is her new brand will do or sell, it has already seen hundreds of thousands of online followers.
It seems as if the brand was named after Montecito, the area near Santa Barbara in California, United States where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex along with their two children live.
Montecito is an upscale town often referred to as the American Riviera.
BBC reports that internet sleuths scouring pending US trademark applications have found that American Riviera Orchards plans to sell cookbooks and home goods such as decanters and kitchen linens, as well as foods including marmalade and jellies.
Since leaving their full-time jobs as seniors forming part of Britain’s royal family, the four have settled in American suburban life.
