NIAGARA FALLS FROZEN

The iconic Niagara Falls have been battered by the recent blizzard that swept across the United States and Canada.

Chunks of ice could be seen at the base of the falls that serves as the border between the two countries.

The storm has been called the "blizzard of the century" by New York governor Kathy Hochul.

Several people have died because of the storm and more have been injured.

Hollywood actor Jeremy Renner has also been injured in a weather related injury in another part of the United States.

CNN reports Renner suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopeadic injuries due to a snow plough incident.

The actor has undergone two surgeries so far.

According to weather reports, the worst of the storms are over and warmer weather is expected across the country.
